Treatment Services
The counseling staff of BHS is composed of licensed and certified professionals who provide the following services:- Continuing Care Counseling
- Crisis Intervention Discharge Planning
- Evaluation and Assessment
- Family, Individual, and Group Counseling
- Female Adolescent Group Counseling
- Female Adolescent Sexual Abuse Survivors Group
- Individualized Treatment Planning
- Male Adolescent Group Counseling
- Referral to Residential and Inpatient Services
- Relapse Prevention
- School Counseling
Such applications are delivered through the following programs:
Community Based Treatment (CBT):
focuses primarily on individual and group counseling related to a wide range of issues.
Intensive Family Services (IFS):
addresses the individual needs of families and children through services such as the Intensive Family Services
Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP):
provides help for those with substance use problems.
New Outlooks Via Awareness Program (NOVA):
is designed to decrease the incidence of substance use and errors in thinking while promoting an understanding of high risk behaviors related to the use of alcohol and other drugs. This is an eight week open-ended Level I Service for individuals who do not have a dependence diagnosis.
School Counseling Program (SCP):
provides counseling and education for children, adolescents, and their family members within the school setting and at BHS. Students who are struggling with personal issues, or who are demonstrating behavioral problems may be referred to SCP by:
